Aarohi was born to a mother trapped in the sex trade, sold into a life she never chose and unable to escape.

In the cramped rooms of the red-light district, Aarohi grew up witnessing her mother’s pain and surrounded by the same dangers that had stolen her mother’s freedom.

For girls like Aarohi, this can become a devastating cycle. Daughters of women in the sex trade are often targeted for exploitation from a young age, placing them at risk of following the same path as their mothers.

But because you cared, her mother’s story did not have to become Aarohi’s.

Aarohi was rescued and welcomed into our safe house, where she received a safe place to sleep, nutritious meals, counseling, and a quality education.

 For the first time, she had the space to simply be a child imagining a different future.

Her rescue is only the beginning of a new story, one built on safety, dignity, and the love of Christ.
